Rasa ha appena perso il proprio posto di lavoro all’interno di una fabbrica svedese. Per lei, giovane immigrata balcanica e senza un diploma di scuola superiore, ciò significa confrontarsi per la prima volta con il tanto temuto sistema occupazionale in crisi. Trovare un nuovo lavoro, anche misero che sia, non è alquanto facile e ben presto si ritrova in rotta di collisione con la società dei ben pensanti, fatta di valori e aspettative in netta contraddizione con i comportamenti reali.

Gabriela Pichler
Pichler and her family moved from Stockholm to Örkelljunga when she was eight years old. Her mother, Ruzica Pichler, are from Bosnia and her father are from Austria. Her mother plays one of the roles in her 2012 feature film debut Eat Sleep Die. Pichler attended Öland’s documentary school and School of Film Directing in Gothenburg.
In 2010, she received an Guldbagge Award at the 45th Guldbagge Awards, in the category for Best Short film for Skrapsår (Scratches), which was her thesis at the School of Film Directing. The same year she received the Bo Widerberg Scholarship.
